After gauge install...

I just recently installed my Indiglo gauges and they work absolutely fine. None of the needles are broken, and the mileage counter and the trip worked as they should until my car went 79,000 miles and the trip and mileage counter completely stopped. You can see where the 78,999 is starting ot turn to the 79,000 mile point and it just sits there, just as the trip does. I'm wondering what could be the problem here. Any ideas?

happened in my talon. in my case i just pushed the trip-o-meter reset a few times, and it took care of the problem. dunno y it happened, but wutever it was, fixed itself by getting reset.

Ok thanks, I'll have to try it. It might just be a coincidence, because I didn't touch the odometer or trip-meter while installing the indiglo's, so we'll see.

I'm also having a problem w/ my cluster. My MPH dial won't work and won't count miles, trip also doesn't work. But, my gas and temp gauges work fine. Then it'll just jump up and start working for awhile, then die. Sucks to not now how fast your going or when to change your oil. Does anyone else have this problem>??

What you could do is see if the plugs that connect to your cluster are plugged in all the way, if they are... then you have broken needles.

could be a bad ground, bad speeds sensor, bad connection or wire from the sensor to the gauge, or like 96Civic said, a loose connector behind the cluster.
