I have know idea if you can or if my car evn has a governer!! If there is a governer where could I find it and how can remove it? Can you remove it? Will I have to take the car in to remove it or can I take it off my self if there is one and if it is possible??

Ive just heard that there is a restrictor that will make your car bump down after you reach a certain k in you rpm.

you mean like a rev limiter. Those are usually there to keep you from floating the valves, unlike my car, Ford dealer said it has no rev limiter, so it revs till it floats. (VERY bad)

The last Stock Ford I had with a Rev. Limiter was a Mustang and it was set at approx. 6150 RPM. I disconnected it when I changed the Cam and when to roller lifters. Nothing to worry about on your GT which is Redlined at about 6000. I've had my 88 GT up to about 5750 and that is all it would do.
