'88 Sierra 4X4 keeps stalling???

I have an '88 Sierra 4X4 that I use for plowing snow. The truck frequently stalls when shifting from drive to reverse or vice versa. It'll start right back up again and sometimes run fine for a while, or sometimes immediately stall again when shifting gears.
