i have a 91 ford taurus wagon and the book i have says you have to pull the engin in order to put in a new tranmission its a 3.8 liter and it is an axod type any info would be great. thank you

Tracy, If you want to see or read about the transmission removal procedure the best thing is to go to an auto parts store like Pep Boys and thumb thru a book about it.
