I recently being building this drifting onevia for one the SG meetup. So far so good.
The body I used are both from Fujimi, 180SX and S13 with Aoshima Meister S1 rims. I will be putting engine in too. Without a SR20, I replaced it with a RB26DETT (I know is totally different). Doing camber and lower down. Body color will be in Mica Red and black roof.
As you can see the first pict is cutting up, and 2nd pict had placed plastic card to prepare for the putty work.

Then putty up and sanded. I will sand the rear fender slightly smaller as I think is a bit to big. Tomorrow will start on the hood and engine placement.

i think the idea is great...but i also think that you should try to fix these imperfections...

SPEEDERZ.... :eek7: it was just my first stage done, alot of place will be touch up and putty again to perfection...so be patient.
Thanks for all, tomorrow I might able to take some shots on the final fender looks and some engine room.

Today, I done some interior mod.Done a simple rollcage, some 'ECU' and meters and putty on most part need to have, tomorrow more picts will be upload. :biggrin:

Putty and sand. Test fit and to see is there any error I've had missed.

Body kit are sand to look closed to the real car(on HPI mag). After putting together, then I found that the interior tub is too high, as if I put my window up, it will not fit well. So tomorrow I will cut the tub slightly shorter than usual. Hood will be putty as I had just lay pla card on the vent.

Hi guys, been some thing not posting my progress here :icon16:
Some progress pict here, body had spray and try fitting...not very happy :disappoin about the result. Tomolo I will some picture on the engine. (Been figured the engine out for more than 3 days...still not much idea :mad:) I wanted it to be top mount intercooler but the room is too small...

This car is sick beyond belief. (And so is the issue of HPI its in:p)
Are you goin to do the half-clear 'super made' tail lights as well>?

Indeed, you have a sharp eyes. :biggrin: The half clear light had already done, but pict is very blur, so have wait till it completed then I take few good pict and show all. The name on it roof will not be Yoshi Takanori, but my shop name (4 chinese character :p )
