any one with a second gen rx-7
ok this is what i need.
if you have a two seater this does not apply to you.
ok get in your backseat and fold those seats down now measure from the back of the trunk to where the seats end when they are folded down like that.
how long is that?

I am planning on getting a fc3s with rear seats or a dodge daytona but the real deal here is how big that measurement is to decide on which one to get. i am guessing it is about 4 or more feet and that would be just what i need at least (for space wise).
also which fc3s (second gen) got the best MPG anyhow? i plan on either sticking with the rotory and build that up, build up my vg30dett, or go with my 94' LS1. And I am not sure which one that i will get the most out of for the least amount of money for the best MPG. Plus i have never worked with rotoray engines before- i know they are simple but how expensive are they to work with and how much money to get the kind of power i want. I also prefer fuel injection.

It is not as nuts as you think- i am a small person- i am only 5 ft tall. Not much eh? my opinion on what good mpg is is about 26 to the gallon on the hiway. in my current daily i only get 20 on the hiway now THAT is shity MPG.
i really don't get how this is screwy... also i just found one that just needs a motor (good for me bad for them-) that is for sale for 600 bucks it is in perfect conditionexcept the motor. Now to me that is a cheap car to start out with- again to me these cars a great cars to work with seeing that they can take a v8 in that thing with ease it can take just about anymotor (rwd and not a Big block) so to me this is the best car for me- and i did find the right amount of space- it is the right size for me and my girl- and it is modable and it looks good so yes it is "right for me"

Well I would go measure the rear for you but that would require me taking out alot of junk and tools, so I'll have to do that when I have more time.
As far as mpg go I get 18mpg on the highway on a good day and I have a N/A but I'm not too sure what the mileage is on the turbo model.

with the stock na you all SHOULD be getting about 18 in the city and 25 on the highway - 1. with your foot out of it and 2. with it in PERFECT condition which i would not expect - again apexi fuel contorller all the way... hmm by buddy pulls about a 12.9 with his mustange gt hatch and gets 25 on the highway and that weighs the same.... to bad it is not an rx...

am not conerned with either mpg is nice to have - andi do NOT want rear seats. i just want to know what the distance it is from the back of the trunk to the front seats when they are bent forward and moved as far forward as possible. that is all. even if you don't have rear seats you could make this measurement with ease. once i find out the EXACT measurement i will tell you why i need it...it is well - you will find out then.
