i have an 84 olds omega with about 300,000k leaks oil not bad just dropped in a started to give it life again. would you spend a bit of money if you didnt have enough for another car and try fixing it? its great shape little to no rust 4 door v6 does it deserve any engine work or should i send her to the grave?

As long as the repairs aren't sending you to the poorhouse, and you like the vehicle, I would keep fixing what needs to be fixed. It's when the repairs are getting more serious and expensive, and more frequent,I would start looking for another vehicle. It is usually cheaper to maintain and repair a used vehicle than a new car payment. That is what the hosts of the syndicated radio show, and newspaper column, "Car Talk" profess to their listeners/ readers.
