Oil filter through the top

You all probably knew this, but if you disconnect the harness to the alternator, you can get the oil filter out/in through the top.:2cents:

i never even thought of that honestly. i usually put it under the intake manifold and set it on a bracket. then go to the other side and screw it on. that's easier for ppl w/ bigger hands though. i have small hands.

i an do it easily from below, i can reach it better then i can from uptop

Absolutely. But if one has to do it on the ground, it's much easier to go through the top, unless you can easily get all the way under the car (I can't)

my car is too low... or i guess i should say my tie bar sits too low and i cant get a can under the car when the front wheels are on the ground. i HAVE to jack it up... which sucks...

then jack it up and set it on the ramps lol my s/r barly clears the ramps lol

stock eibach? i have progress. if you barely clear then i prolly wouldn't.
