Hi everyone. Maybe someone could help me. I know AcesHIGH could if he is here. I have a h22 that I recently swapped into my lude. I took out the h22trans today b/c 2 of the rear bolt housings were cracked and well I didnt think it was a big deal. But it is, b/c the trans isnt bolted down by the rear except on the trans mount on the left hand side.. This is b/c of the 2 cracked housings. So tomorrow I am going to take my h23 trans and bolt it in. I know its a direct bolt on, but will the h22 Clutch and Flywheel cause any problems for me or is there anything important that I need to know? Just curious. I need this car to finally be running tomorrow b/c of my new job, so hopefully it will not cause a problem. Please give me some info tho if anyone can. Thanks

the only difference is the 5th gear on h23. on 5th gear at 80mph is about 3000 rpm instead of 4000. you'll get better gas milelage but lower torque. the h22 clutch is bigger than the h23 clutch. so that means you also have to use the h23 clutch and pressure plate.
