Surgery #5

Well ive decided to bitch a little bit, maybe get a little sympathy, maybe a cash donation? Anyway, in november 02 I had an abcess for those of you who dont know what one is its kind of like an infection deep inside, mine was from an ingrown hair, and i was lucky enough to get it on my bum. So I had surgery on that and had a hole in me 3 inches deep and the size of a quarter around, a couple months of physical therapy later they gave up and said that it wasnt going to heal and I needed to go back to the doc. My doc sent me to a specialist in another town. That guy said I would have to have another surgery and that it was pretty much up to me when I got this done. So I said screw it im tired of being on (or off more literally) my ass all the time im just gonna wait it out. I was alright for about a year then it started hurting again (a real pain in the ass...really) So I went back to the doctor, had 2 more surgeries then he said ya know what, I dont know what the hell im doing. So now ive moved up to my dads because financially I cant not work and live on my own so im on my second surgery up here. Who knows how many more I will have to have but it sucks. The pain is horrible, it wouldnt be soo bad if it were somewhere else but its on my ass, which means class isnt any fun because the seats are hard on that huge gaping hole. Im already about 2 years behind so im just sucking it up and going to class anyway now. Im sick of the pain pills, sick of living with my folks, sick of having this damn pain, sick of being in college 3 years and not quite being a sophomore. So this is my bitching, any suggestions?

I actually am gonna bring a pillow to class with me tomorow, it doesnt bother me because once youve had like 50000 people work on your ass you tend to loose a lot of self respect anyway.

If a doctor that did 2 surgeries on me told me he didn't know what he was doing, I'd be at a lawyer's office before I ate lunch. It was an ingrown hair for crying out loud, and now after 5 surgeries??!!??!!? PLEASE, that's bullshite. Find a competent dermatologist and a competent attorney. In 6 months your wound should be healed, and in a couple years your should get your college paid for.

An abcess is one of these things that sometimes is NEVER healed up. The docs before did what they were supposed to but this guy im going to now specializes in this stuff. Poor guy.

Well hopefully the specialist will work his magic and you'll be good to go.

I still say something is fishy going on though, its been 4-5 surgeries now, why didnt the 2nd or 3rd recommend this "specialist" instead of hitting you up for another costly surgery............ nevermind, I think I just answered my own question.

I just think of it this way, when they took that first huge chunk out of me, its just weight reduction so it cuts off about .001 off my 1/4 mile time lol
