Hi there,
Will a factory concorde stereo with CD fit in place of a 1998 factory with cassette? They look the same externally, but not sure if connect/mounting is the same.
Example of 2004 stereo: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7953065443&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT
Would appreciate any help...

I won't call this an educated answer but I do believe they are the same mounting and hookups seeing as the body style changed for the 98's and continued on through the end of the vehicles production at the end of 2004 model year.

No, it won't fit. In mid year 2002, Chrysler changed their factory wiring harness and connectors for all their head units from the 2-7 pin connectors to a single 22-pin connector. If you want to make it work, you'll have to go to an aftermarket stereo place and ask for an adapter.
It'll bolt up perfectly, but the connections won't fit.
