PCV location

I am sorry for such a noob question, but can some one please tell me where the pcv is located on the 99 rodeo v6. I am going to replace it, but I do not see it. I know I am looking over it. My haynes manual has pics of it, however it is not the same engine as mine. So those pics are worthless, as I am learning some sections of the manual are as well. I am trying to teach myself to be a DIY'er mechanic.
Thanks for the help,
Marc

Facing the engine, it's on top of the right hand valve cover, about in the center. It's got about a 3/8" vac hose clamped to it. Lift the decorative cover on top of the engine up & off to see the PCV valve. Spray it out really good with intake cleaner, or replace with an OEM replacement.

Thanks Joel, I was looking to the left. That is where my manual lead me to believe it was.
On a side note I see from your sig you are from Buffalo as well. Me too. Nice to see some people in my neck of the woods on the forum.
Again, thanks,
Marc

Well, this is my first post, as I'm picking up my trooper in a day or 2. So, I'm gonna take advantage of it, and ask a noob question, too.
I know I have to replace my PCV valve from the inspection I had done.
Is it located on the same place in a trooper as it is located in a rodeo?
Anybody know?:werd:
thanks,
a noob.

Yep. If your 2001 3.5L has the thread-in PCV valve, I'd pull it, clean it with intake cleaner & reinstall. Make sure the check valve in it moves freely and you are good to go.
