89 cherokee won't stay running!

My 89 cherokee was running perfect till about a week ago when it just died. it starts right up but only stays running for about 30 sec. ONce it stayed for about a half hour. I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the fuel system but dunno what? i replaced the fuel filter and pump buit still the same problem. ANY IDEAS??

THERE IS A WHITE CERAMIC BLOCK ON DRIVERS SIDE INNER FENDER JUMP THE TERMINALS IT'S A RESISTOR FOR FUEL PUMP DALE
