The beast is a dam good motor. only if you have deep pockets. All the block work is done for you. You buy that motor at 270 hp and can still do the rest of your bolt on's. you could easily get 320+ out of it N/A. And when it went to turbo or supercharger you could boost it high as you want w/o havin to worry bout it blowin. If you got the dough do it. If i had the money i would. A 2000 civic is no where near as nice as that motor is and a b16 would blow soon after it got 270 hp. and thats not even including exhaust. i duno what those ppl are thinkin bout.

ewwww....don't buy that crap!
<-----not a fan of buying prebuilt motors or buying someone else's car that already built it.
Take the time to do everthing yourself....the ONLY way to build a car.
blah, blah, blah...."i don't know how to work on cars or i don't make that kind of money...."
yah well, seeing as you can build an engine for anywhere from 2k to 6k...im sure everyone on this board who has a job makes at least that much money every year. Also....who cares if you don't know how to work on cars....there was a point where you didn't know how to walk, or tie your shoes, or use the toilet, or ride a bike....but you learned right? (i hope so)....you can do the same with cars if you really had the passion. 99% of people who are at the tracks everyday are people just like you and me who never went to school for it....
but it's ok...if there weren't people out there that didn't know how to swap motors...i wouldn't be making all of that money off of them... :evillol:

its probably like 270 to the flywheel so probably like 235 to the wheels. which is obtainable from a stroked 86mm bored motor

guy i met got one from his gradnfather, but i never saw it actually in the car. He had some bet that if he got straight A's that he would buy him any swap and he ended up getting straight A's.

I believe that is 1.8l dart block built up.
sheez for that kinda of cash you can rebuild a crx to factory specs(like if it was right of the showroom floor).
