2001 M roadster

I found a pretty good deal on a 2001 M roadster with 900 miles on it. I was wondering what everyone had experienced with theirs. And mabye some tips on anything to look for when purchasing? I might buy a new one, but the $41,000 they wanted for a 2001 with those miles was hard to pass up. I'm still looking so, any information would be greatly appreciated! I did test drive one, WOW! with 315hp it really gets up and goes.
