94 caravan(non turbo) fault code 54

Engine running rough, but does start. Code flashes 54. Need help to determine what this could be.

No cam signal at PCM.
Since the engine will start, Check the Camshaft position sensor wiring up to the PCM. I would clear the codes (remove the (-) battery cable for a few minutes and try it again to see if MIL light comes on.

I see in your new 'thread' you have determined the cam sensor is not faulty, so I take it signal voltages and reference voltage are correct? If any of these are not correct, the engine will run, but it will be out of time.....and run rough.
