Just wondering if anyone out there has taken the A2 ASE test?

Call me a nerd, but I ordered and took all of the ASE tests just to see what they were like. What's your question?

dayum.. yeah man, i think youre a nerd. me here just took the A6, A8, and L1 this month on computer base testing. the test was hard as hell and barely pass. now im getting ready to take the smog tech license exam. have you taken it?

Haven't taken the smog tech test yet. I ordered them a couple years ago and took the more common ones. Since I just got to California I have to learn more about smog before I can even begin to take the test.
You're right, the tests are HARD!!! I'm sorta self-taught. Not "self" really at all since I learned from thousands of others like people at this forum, but I say "self" instead of like taking classes. The tests are more diagnostic and specific. Myself being a general hot rodder, they are incredibly hard. :wow:

well me here started as self taught too when i was 12. did oil change and etc on my mom's car. but I took automotive classes while im in highshcool. am still in highschool and expecting to grad in May this year.
oh yeah man, before you can take the california smog tech license exam, the BAR (Bureau of automotive repair) require that you have ASE on A6, A8, and L1, plus Clean Air Course and 2005 Update and 2 years education on automotive technology. as you can see, they required too much shit.
im getting ready to take this test and hope i can pass it.
