92 ford engine fit in a 83 f-100?

I have a possible 300 inline 6 cylinder motor i can get to fit in my 83. The 92 is FI but has a plate where the manual fuel pump goes. Would the cam have a lobe for the fuel pump? Or could I put an inline electric in? Will this even work? Motor mounts the same if it will work? Hope I gave enough info. Thanks.
