While I was taking a much needed nap yesterday, my gf went to Autozone and bought Krylon Fusion Blue Spray Paint, and painted my LEATHER shiftboot. I have no problem with this, seeing as the paint job looked professionally done and it matched my custom interior. The problem is that the paint is sticky and rubs off on ANY DAMN THING it comes in contact with. Is there someway I can dry it? So far, I have heard that I should A: Give it time to dry, and B:Take a hairdryer to it for a few mins. Any advice? Thanks in advance.

im guessing its an acrylic enamel? yeah -- uh you're not supposed to put that on leather
it should dry eventually but i wouldn't anticipate it lasting forever unless she was smart enough to prime the surface first
we found out that carb/choke cleaner strips paint off just about anything without the fumes of thinner... in case you need to clean that off if it doesn't dry right
good luck

A friend of mine told me that leather dye would work as well. Anyone have any experience with it?
