Do u rev like...really high frequently?
If yes, be careful. Maybe.....get it rebuilt.
Plus, don't "powershift" because that's straight up gay.
:D

i've got a 97 ex coupe...i got it with 84,000 miles on it. its got 114000 on it now. and i have driven it pretty hard. and its still running like a dream....ony i take care of it. regular scheduled maintenance, woter pump and timing belt at 90K regular oil changes, tune ups and just had the valves adjusted.....

my 95 Civic had 140K miles on the engine when I pulled it and it ran GREAT and I dogged the hell out of the engine the trans and engine both run great
honda engines are really built well and unless your a real dumb@#$# you wont blow it till it has high miles
things for starters are taking the rev lim off and reving the engine 500 RPMS higher then it should sure the engine might hold it but SMACK! if its not built for it don't do it
if you keep the upkeep of your engine good and don't drive it like a DUMB@#$#@ then you will be ok I can't even start to tell you how many times I've seen people just sit at a light with the clutch in full throttle letting the engine bounch off the rev lim....
with my B16 Im planing on putting 40-50K hard miles on it and from there see how it holds up with 8 or so PSI boost once it shows any sign of wear Im going to pull it apart and put new rods/potins in it and maybe lower the CR
I should have a engine I can depend on for years to come
