My 1994 Chevy Blazer 4x4 won't go in drive. It will go in R,1,2 but it won't do anything in drive or over drive. I know VERY LITTLE about transmissions and would appreciate any help I could get.

Get the engine warmed up and let it idle and check the transmission fluid.
The dip stick for it is on the back passenger side.

The fluid was the first thing I checked and it was ok.

You checked it while it was running right?

When I checked it like you said to, (with it running) it was empty. I filled it until it was reading good. But it still won't go in D or OD. What do I do next?

Please don't withhold information like that if you want me to help.
You neer told me that it was empty.
Put it in drive and raise the rpms up and see if it will go into gear.

Well, you have an airlock in your transmission or you have ruined your transmission because you didn't maintain the fluid level properly.
