Just purchased a used '00 sentra gxe, not looking to mod it much past maybe a cold-air intake and a few small items. However, I would like to know if there are any issues/problems common with this year/generation of sentra anyone can give me a heads-up on?
Also, does anyone have links to online service manuals for do-it-yourself maintenance? (i.e. changing t-stat, plugs, wires, tranny flush, radiator flush, etc.)
Thanks in advance for any help

i had a 1999 gxe and i beat it to death and it loved me for it. i assume the 2000 isnt much different, tough car. Even took mine mudding a few times and turned some heads by its abilities

Yup, pretty hard to kill a sentra. Watch for busted open CV boots, and sagging door hinges. Other than that, just use NGK spark plugs and never use an injector cleaner, and all should be awesome!

Thanks for the info guys. Changed out plugs with NGKs, keeping up regular oil changes and planning a tranny filter and fluid change. Kind of surprised me when I found out the fuel filter is "non-serviceable" seperately from the fuel pump, but guess it's not an issue or else people would be complaining about it.
