How about you go and get the codes read, no one here can really offer anything but suggestions unless you can tell us a code. In my opinion double posts are usless when all you had to do after waiting a WHOLE 6 hrs is post in the same thread again and it would have put it at the top.

It's very helpful to know the year. It never hurts to type a bit too. From the title, I could think that you want to know how, or if, ABS lights help you. They tell you when the antilock brakes aren't working right.
Check the brake lights (outside ones), including the third brake light. I saw a car once that had the ABS light on because one of the brake lights was burned out.... it was a really dumb way to wire it, but it may not have been fixed yet, and there may have been some trucks with basically the same setup.
