Nedd glovebox hinges- '89 525i

I have been searching for glove box hinges for my car. The glove box has been shoved into place when I bought it in December (it stays there very well because the latch does work) but when you open it, it falls on the floor. There are two straps to hang it from but the glovebox in unattached at the rear. It look slike there must be a couple plastic or metal pieces that slide onto the metal rod on the firewall, then these slide into grooves in the bottom of the glovebox and are tightened up with a couple bolts. I checked an auto recycler and they want $75 for the whole glove box. Anyone have a smashed glove box that the hinges are still good on? Or have a drawing/picture of what each hinge shoudl be? Perhaps I can make them. OIr if you know someplace I can find just the hinges that would be great too.
