Ok i am probably going to get killed on this post but i did try and seach but got mixed opinions
What are the best rotors out there for stopping and performance braking

Drilled 100% although Combi work well too but drilled are best as long as they are quality discs. Drilled allow thew hasses that build when the pad rubs the discs to escape and help them to remain cooler. Grooves work in a similar fashion but also can be grabby at first and grooved are harder on your pads! Someone will come in here and say I'm wrong but I'm not. Supercars have drilled not grooved discs and so do some racecars although purpose built ones will differ as they use special caliper with up to 16 pads per caliper! Small pads!

Drilled are good, but personally I use slotted with good pads. I've got powerslot rotors and carbon metallic pads on my car now and they work well. Any brakes system is good as long as you arent extremely rough on them.
It also depens on how much you are willing to spend. I paid $130 for my rotors and $40 or $50 for my pads.

agreed.. but only thing with drilled is then tendency to crack from the drilled holes. Other wise they are very nice, and if you have the extra money to shell out for if you crack or warp them, go for it.

This only really happens on cheap discs as it depends on the process used to drill the disc. Just grabbing a power drill and wailing on a set of rotors wont suffice. Companies like brembo would obviously have this down pat! I believe they also guaratee again cracking and warping.
