Killing the airbag

If its possible, how do I go by killing the airbag. I really want to put a steering wheel with a smaller center on it, but of course my car has an airbag. Do I need to program something into the computer? THanks.

you will need the repair manual to get the disarming sequence it is detailed and important. you can do it without it but you run the risk of it deploying it they HURT LIKE HELL i have heard you can get the sequence off the internet but i can not tell you where to go to get them you may also want to try the dealership but they will probeably teell you can't do it by yourself and bring it to them but you can you just need that information
