Rtv Blue Or Gasket

Ive just changed my Transmition Pan Gasket and I torqued it to specs and this morning I went out to fill it and in one of the corners the gasket squeezed out over the night I was just going to go with RTV Blue in the first place but then I changed my mind and put the rubber gasket in. should I stay with the Rubber or should I go with the RTV. Im afraid this will happen again. THanks

Ive never had to use RTV and never had a problem with the gasket coming out.Id try a new gasket and cross your finger's it dosent happen again :wink: Using RTV would be a pain the next time you change the fluid and filter haveing to clean that crap back off.
