Hey - I need to replace my rear speakers and wanted to know if any of you have gone to aftermarket rears, and if so what you got and how you like them?
Also, do you know what size they are?

They're 6x9's, I have polk audio, if I was going to replace just the rear and no amp, I'd use infinity, or polk. With no amp don't get a high powered speaker.

I used infinities with the stock deck. Sounds very nice.

Hey if your replaceing your 6x9 you might as well put your new speakers on an amp. In the Aurora it is basically set up for you. The battery is in the back so you dont have to run a long power cable. You can tap in to the antenna for the remote turn on wire and you can use the high level input on the amp or a line output converter so u dont have to run rca to the back. Like I said the aurora is one of the easyest cars to add an amp. The only reason why I say this is because most good 6x9 can handle up to 325 watts and why buy the speakers if your not going to use them to their full potential.

The only problem with amping only the rears is that you destroy the balance front to rear. From and audiophile point of view you DON'T have more music in the rear behind the drivers head. There is no sound stage in this setup.
