problems getting out stock radio on a 96

okay so a feind of mine asked me to take out her stock radio and try to fix it for her. it seems that her 4 year old decided she wanted to cram as much change into the cd player as she could and now the entire radio wont work. so i told her i would get all the change out and get it working again. problem was that when i was trying to get the radio out i couldnt get it. i thought i had everything off that needed to be, but there still seemed to be something holding it in but i couldnt see anything. i didnt take off the pass side trim peice that runs fromt he center console up to the front of the car, so i was thinking that i should take that off. but i dont know how that is held on. i think it is clips but i dont want to break her car if they arent. anyways, if anyonw has any description for me on how to get this thing out please let me know. thanks
