Air Impact Gun

I was browsing through my local wal-mart and they have this air compressor, gun, tool set for $170. I was considering buying it but I don't know if it's worth the money. I was just wondering if anyone has an air gun of their own and if it was worth their investment. Also is $170 is expensive for the set? I apologize if this isn't the right forum.

Cheap impact guns will lack power, also you will want to look at the CFM it requires, then see what kind of CFM your air compressor puts out. If you don't have enough CFM to run the impact gun then it will be very weak and not help you much.

one of my mechanics have an electric impact gun from pro tools that has 250lbs max torque.

I have a Craftsman 3 piece set, 1/2" impact wrench, 3/8" air ratchet, and an impact gun. I'll sell it to ya cheap, pm me if you're interested. you would still need a compressor though...
