When i posted on here about my wheels i got some good advice :) I heard that 15-inches should be the limit. The less weight on the wheels, the less mass your engine has to spin to get the car moving. If you're going to drag, make sure to get some wheels that allow for wider tires so you can get some more traction on the track.

I agree. If you're really going dragging with your car then get some 13x7" mags and put some slicks on them. I think 91civicDXdude was selling some drag rims awhile back.
And there is nothing wrong with 14s if you're just going in a straight line... hell, they're even great in the twisties on my Si.

I'd love to ditch out my HX rims. On my 89 HF they are just to god damn light and small for cornering...

But isn't it lots of fun having one wheel just about come off the ground?

Whats the fun in having a quick, low, small, and powerful car if you can't go around a corner quickly with no one around? I kinda wish I had an Si just to be a little fatter, but if I want to add weight I'll just go load up on dinner before I go out...

I meant just slow down some before entering the turn... :naughty:
You got a sway bar? would it matter?

Nope no sway bar, that and LSD I think will pretty much help rid me of this dreaded problem. My favorite is when its wet, at full throttle at a lower gear (1rst or 2nd) whenever i hit VTEC, my tires just start spinning, thats so fun  Never had a car be able to do that before I bought this one...

I don't have vtec and it's super easy to get my tires to spin when it's wet... what kind of engine you got?

Yea especially since the 89 HF, was the SI body and interior, with the HF weight :). Paired up with the smallest honda rims, its a good wheel spinner... whenever I get off my ass I will take pictures of it...

If you wana go big and light then go with the OZ Superlegra 17's. As i recall they are around the weight of most 16's and some stock 15inch rims. They are claims to be the lightest racing rims made.
