I have a 1991 dodge stealth sohc, I have been trying to find a whistle noise on my car. You can't hear it at idle. but when you drive it down the road and floor it you can hear it. I dunno if it is a vacuum line, or something else? anyone any ideas?

I have listened to the motor and don't think it would be belts. It sounds like it is more behind the intake or in that area. It still not as loud as what it is going down the road. I think its more in the intake area though. I dunno its really hard to find.

Whistling is usually more of a vacuum leak than an intake leak...but check ur hoses, make sure that hose that plugs into the intake tube is plugged into it.
If you own a steth a scope you can really pinpoint it.

Pressure test it, there are instructions for building cheap pressure testers on www.stealth316.com, or you can get one from one of the members on 3si that makes and sells them.
That way you can pressurize everything without having the extra noise of the engine running.
