for all who saw some of my recent posts involving ricers talking crap to me heres what ive decided to do,...... as i stated a while back, next year i plan on buying a ls1, thats a no brainer but anyway in the mean time why leave my 3800 half assed stock. what im thinking is something some may have never waisted their time thinking about, im gonna pull the engine and rebuild her. im talking porting boreing all that good shit. also since i was gonna put her on the bottle next month i decided to wait 4 the re-build so i can re-enforce everything internaly to take the shot. new headers new exaust (borla), and find someone to re tune that damn computer cause it sucks. this car as of now has no pc tunes thats b.s.! i figured even though this will b my daily driver why does it have to be next to slow. people are saying how when they drive their z's nobody tries to race them but as soon as they get in the ole 6er everybody wants some...so ill put a end to that crap too, she'll be a sleeper by week, and on the weekend ill pull out the rape machine!!(when i get that ls1 of coarse) i figure since i have a few thousand i can blow ill start buying the stuff for the motor now and by the end of the summer be ready to re-build her. afterwards i cant wait to see the looks when im pulling on their asses from the line.....

why put $5000 into an engine your planning on pulling out in a year? just to teach some kid in a sunfire a lesson?
And its not un-common to see hopped up camaro v6's.. Ive seen many that run 10 seconds..

ok But it sounded like you were still going to put an LS1 into it next year..
If you want to build a super fast 3.8, Ide say Go for it! I dont like NOS though.. Too limited in where/when you can use it and refills are pricey.. Ide say go for a turbocharger, like the buick 3.8

yeah i wanna keep the rebuilt 6 for my everyday car and get me a newer z or ss next year. now when i get that car im going for the 600 marker.i wasnt saying swapping the 3800 for a ls1 i want both cars. and i know alot of guys that arent down with no2 but its the fastest extra power u can put on anything, i plan on useing a wet shot and ill let the computer do all the work i plan on useing a window switch that way i dont kill my damn fool self and ill get the most out of the shot. the guys i hang with have a f body shop and they all race their shit and they run some good numbers and they all said they would help me out with both cars, so we'll see how it goes. oh and by the way your car is bad ass when i was young i wanted one just like it... i may end up with one of them also and have three...

why don't you just build up the LS1? it would be much more worth the time, money and effort
