How much boost should I be able to push? A few other questions too

Well, I'm only boosting 15 psi right now because I'm too afraid of blowing anything up. But after looking at other people's mods and the psi that there running, I think I should be safe bringing mine up a notch. Well I live in cali so we only have the crappy 91 oct gas. So knowing that and my mods (listed below). How much psi do you think I can safely boost without blowing my motor. Keep in mind I have stock internals. (Also, I know tuning plays a major factor in the amount of safe boost I can run, but I'm saying if tuning was done good and safe.)
PS. I'm gonna post up a DSM LINK log later today to see how my cars running right now.
PPS. The DSM Link has a varible that says (HP). Is that Horse Power? and if it is, How accurate is that?

can 2G dsmlink be setup to use the stock boost guage as a knock guage? if it can just set it that way and slowly turn up the boost until it starts to knock. youll be able to run more boost once it gets hot out. when its cold the air's dense so it knocks faster

You have 950cc injectors, a fmic, and a 255 lph...your boost is limited only by the amount of power you're willing to make on a stock motor. If I were you, I would have the car dyno-tuned to a power rating I wanted. Should only cost you about $150 or so...

DSMlink V2 can display several things on the stock boost guage, like the TMO chips.
The HP number isnt all that accurate. It should be, but it doesnt seem to work out. Something in the filtering causes wacky readings. I just looked at my 11.3 run and it says 415 WHP.
Your setup isnt much different from what I had when I borrowed Chads 60-1 AGP turbo kit and ran 119 on pump gas. What are you using for a manifold/turbine houisng?
I would run 25 psi on that setup all day as long as its tuned properly and not knocking. Shoot for 11:1 calculated AFR (if your fuel flow/air metering is correct), stock timing, and see what knock is.
If you post a DSMlink log, I would be more than happy to take a look and offer some feedback.

Thanks for the props on the setup. I gotta thank Kevin for the setup ideas. He told me everything to get practically. But anyways, I see full boost at 4200 rpms but I'm AWD so I'm fine with that .(Launches like a damn monster...... Still kinda scares me, and I'm only at 15 psi.) I like that turbo lag though because it make a good daily driver (especially when driving with a parent or something) Honestly, Turbo lag is so overrated. But with the setup the way it is now, I have taking out a 12 sec B18C5 civic Hatchback, Mustang Cobra w/ supercharger, Camaro SS with mods, and Just this morning I ran dead even with a Supra TT w/ the turbos upgraded to a single big turbo (not sure which though.) Also I ran a 05 VETTE today on the freeway. Well, he gave me the business but he was surprised becuase he was slowly walking away.
I plan on getting the car dynoed, but the only place around my home with and AWD dyno is talking about 250 an hour. I know thats WAYYYYYY to much so I'm still looking around.
But I really wanna boost more. Just afraid. Don't got the money for a new engine.

That post is useless without posting how you are doing it. Chip, DSMlink, act of God, etc.

Kevin, you said you'd run 25 psi on that turbo? Even if it's a daily driver? Will that be safe if I'm daily driving it on stock internals? I have the Profec B boost controller so I can set a low and a high boost so I guess I can set low at like 15 for daily driving and I can set 25 for high. Does that sound good?
I'll try and get a log up tomarrow.

If its tuned properly its always safe, but thats your call. The whole game is one big risk, how much you risk is up to you. But I daily drove at 25 psi on turbos from 6H 20Gs to GT40 56 trims. You wont be making enough power to challenge the stock internals, but more power does put more wear on everything. The two stage idea is probably best. Tune for the 25 psi though, and suffer the slight loss at the 15 psi setting. Power on demand, probably the best compromise.

ok thats what I'll do then. Hope you get on tomarrow Kevin because the logs will be comming all over the place
