Thanks so much to CADguy for patiently helping me get my polishing drama under control. Mad props to him for being so helpful to the entire AF community, and letting us all steal his secret weapons. In all, I consider this painting practice a success, I made some mistakes but was able to recover and learn a lot from them, and that was the point. Some details aren't great (ie, windows) because I was just sloggin' through all that to get to paint and polish. I think I've got enough confidence to try a two tone on a much bigger project now. I am quite pleased. I only with the sun was out higher to give you all a better look at that gorgeous Cobra Colors hue. Perhaps tomorrow if the rain holds.

Edit: Here is the original car, 1:1 (http://www.ict.ne.jp/~kimossan/fit/fit1.htm), let me know how ya'll think I did capturing the the look of that car.

Hey,

Beautiful color combo. Nice rims. It all looks great together. Don't look exactly like the real one-rims, grille, other body work- but it's still great looking. Nice clean build. Keep up the great work.

i just thought of a way to make stretchwall tyres.

it probably wont work, but if someone wants to try, go for it

get your dremel/drill and put the tyre on a round thing, like in this tutorial for scuffing.

http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=167087

do like the tut says, but instead of sanding the flat edge, sand the corner of the tyre until it is angled.

' Your fit,... but my gosh..., don't.. you.. just.. know.. it' . The streets . I'm listening to their album right now :grinyes:

Btw, very good job Will  It's well known I'm not a big fan of Hondas but your job is absolutely marvelous. Each model coming out of your hands makes me want to do a Honda. You're such a source of inspiration.
I really like this color combo and you did it so well. The body is a real mirror . And the rims ... I love everything.

Thanks for the kind words, everyone, I am proud of the paint on this one. The encouragement from you guys makes it better.

The wheels are Fujimi Work Euroline. (http://www.hlj.com/product/FUJ19235)

Excellent work! I may be biased but the paint appears to have come out beautifully. The metallic color balanced well and the whole finish is polished to a fine gloss. That's particularly evident on the expanse of the roof. The wheels really set it off too.
