im doin a tune up soon on my 92, its a 2.2 RS model. i might sound kinda stupid but whats the best brand to go wit for spark plugs? i dont realy wanna spend too much, and never owned a 4cl period. i heard boche is for bigger engines, thats what ive always used. if someone could gimmie a few details about a range of plugs thatd be great.. ie; cost, how long theyll last, an preformance. an what kinda gap am i lookin at for them.. thx again, any info would be much appriciated.. oh an are the 4 spark ones worth buying?? specialy if i have stock cables.....

Stay with AC delco plugs and 7mm wires.. Bosch +4 is crap and stay away from them. Bacially all other plug out there are the same and make no difference untill you get into the iridium, copper plugs which are colder running meant for boosted apps. Take one out and bring it to a parts store and get the same everything. Best advice i can give you.

NGK Denso(expensive though) AC Delco, Champion anything from them you wont see any differences in power with any plug Bosch claim to add up to 15 ft-lbs tq this is BS!

ayep, stay with factory spec/brand plugs. ? for ya though, how do the plug-ends look? They tell a lot about engine-state. And, ya can usually play with heat-ranges within the spec. plug for your plant, but that only for certain prob.'s

Everybody has always told me to use AC Delco, nothing else. I've had the NGK's in there for almost a year and it runs great.

What ever you do don't over tighten them, it is TOO easy to strip the threads from the head, get them snug and add 1/16 turn.
