I have 2002 Buick Rendezvous CX FWD, and I have recently notice a very quiet, hissing/static sound coming from at least the front driver side speaker as if the radio was on, but turned all the way down. This is happening while the car is off with no keys and the doors shut. I am wondering, 1st, what it might be, and 2nd, if this is the cause for my battery running down and needing a jump.
Additionally, I too am a victom of the infamous wheel bearing problem. I have talk to my service center and even a Buick dealership and both have admitted that this is a known problem. I am contacting GM right now to share my "thoughts".
Outside the wheel bearing situation, this is a great vehicle. I'd buy another if GM would simply stand behind their product.

you might try unpluging the speaker from the back of the radio and see if it goes away. Your radio still gets power all the time to keep up with it's memory. So my guess is your radio reciever is the problem, replace it and I would immagine the problem goes away.
Yes if your sending power out all the time it will cause your battery to go low.
