Where is it!!!

I have an 1985 Pontiac 6000 w/ 2.8 ltr V-6. My SES light came on, pulled a code of "54", according to the Haynes manuel it said that its the MIxture Control Selonoid. Where is this at on the engine? Also is there a way to test it with a digital multi-meter to verify if its bad? Thanks in advance .

Mud, go to the local parts-place or local dealer and ask them. My manual in this forum only covers the GA, and the 6K was a limited-run ride, although they really were high-te3ch rides for their day.
