K04 Install-FMIC Question

Hi,
Ive just purchased my k04 turbocharger, and was needing some advise on an intercooler. Does anyone know if a cooler
(SIZE Core Length : 24" ,Core Height: 12" ,Core Thickness: 3") will fit behind an A4 bumper? Would a cooler this size be overkill for a k04, and would i benefit more from a smaller cooler( Core Height 8")????????? Any advise would be appreciated.

Thanks
