Alright after all the problems that have come up with my 90 jimmy im thinkin about buyin a newer model. I just have one question...what is the best jimmy or blazer to buy. What year and engine should i look at pickin up. Id really like to stay away from another problematic 4.3. Is there something older that was reallt well built(newer than mine though) or should i look at something brand new. Any oppinions would be appreciated guys.

thanks

Get a second gen (95 to current) For the most part they're all the same... There was no BETTER THAN truck built...Obviously the newer the better....When you get it, before signing the papers, take it to a dealership and ask for their Free inspection, they will be able to tell you if anything is wrong with it and you can go back and either not take it or negotiate the price down.
