Spec-V Hotshot headers released

Hey guy check this out it's the release of the Hotshot haders for the 2.5L Spec-V's...It was actually just relesed at the SERCA convention that just happened recently.....

But check out www.hotshot.com for info and details..But you'll probably have to call them cause they never update thier site so they probably won't have it listed on the site...

stillen has a ceramic coated header as well. of course on the site there is no pic and no price. but it lists the part number. so thats kewl. i bet that header and full exhaust with cold air intake we'd be well over 200 horse. :eek: :eek:

That might be pushing it a bit...

I must agree with Stylin. Even though headers, exhaust, and intake will help our cars out, it's gonna take a little bit more to push through the 200hp mark. With all that, that's probably gonna be about a good 15hp power gain. Once things like Cams, cam gears, and pulleys are available for our cars on top of all the basic mods just mentioned, that will deffinately push us past 200hp. Maybe not 200hp to the wheels, but overall hp. What do you think Stylin?

Wow 200 hp would be totally great. I'd race alot of cars wit 200 hp. Looking forward to that.

i think that the headers will produce a lot of power for our car...maybe around 10-14 whp, who knows about bhp, but i think with CAI, headers, and exhaust, our whp will almost match up to bhp, give or take 5-10 hp

All you guys talking about cai's, headers, and exhausts, do you do the work yourself? Or have a shop do it for you? Any idea what effect to the warranty putting any of those parts on, especially the headers?

I'd love to improve the performance of my car, but would hate to negate the 6 year warranty I stupidly purchased.

i'm almost positive that cai's don't void warranty........but a header most definately will. i think exhuast will as well. thats why i'm holding back until at least my 3 year is done.

So what do you guys think of the spec V? I'm either gonna buy a acura RSX type S or a Spec V...thoughts? Let me know....:sun:

hey muphasta, i totally agree with u, but u gotta play it smart man....IF something does happen, just switch back all the parts to stock (if u kno how, if u don't i suggest to have a professional do it)...that's y u keep all your stock parts....all u gotta have is ft/lbs for the bolts and your fine... you gotta cheat the system, don't let them cheat u...peace

my bro emailed hot shot and they said the headers were going to be 425 usd. they say with their CAI and headers, there is an increase of 21 wheel hp!!!!

that's pretty damn good just for a CAI and header combo....but i don't trust the companies' results, but the consumers...they might be exaggerating by 5-8 hp, but it's still good

i just got of the phone with them they said there on sale for $400.00
