This has probally been brought up before but I could not find it. When my 96 is in 2WD going down the road there is a vibration that can be heard and felt in the steering wheel and floorboard. Push it into 4Wd and it goes away until switched back into 2Wd when it gradually comes back. I have made sure to back up and all taht to unlock the hubs but that still does not fix the problem. Any ideas? Thanks.

Check your transfer case fluid level along with the u-joints.
From what you are saying, one of the U-joints is bad.
Have them insspected.

Could be spider gears, think their was a TSB on it.
