vibration at highway speed

Hello,
I am about to sell my car because I can't figure out why it vibrates at 65+ mph. I have a '94 1.8L 4spd auto. 64K miles. Had this problem since I bought it 3k miles ago. Sounds like it is coming from the front end. Here is what I have done so far: Switched tires+rims with my other car, checked wheel bearings, changed both CV axles, put in salvaged transmission. None of the above solved the problem. Please help.

is the vibration road noise??

I don't think its road noise--it occurs even on the smoothest of roads. But I noticed a little play in the steering over the weekend so I will look into steering related stuff.

could be anything... maybe tie rods, or your brakes are warped. i know my car, just before i bought it was hit on the front left. it screwed up the toe a little bit, something to do with the tie rod and is the source of my vibration. i did get the tires balance, rotated, and a new rim and tire put on. it fixed most of the vibration and pull. the tire was on the back, and had a ripped belt so it was bulged. the rim was also on the back and was bent to shit. id try taking it in to a local tire shop, they usually do front end work as well, and should be able to tell you what is up with it.

did you modify yours suspension ? or change it to a sport springs ? or yours suspension shock is out!

My guess would be the rotors (since I've had that problem once). Since the vibrations seems to be directly related to speed and not RPM (correct me if I'm wrong), I'd check to see if the rotors are the issue (since you have eliminated other possible culprits). When you press the brakes at those speeds where you feel the vibration, does it get worse? Or can you feel it through your steering wheel? If so, you can buy replacements at your local parts store, usually for $20-$30 a rotor or you can have your existing ones resurfaced. Wouldn't be a bad idea to change your brake pads if needed since all of that would be disassembled.
