I just put tokiko illumina 5 way adjustable shocks and springs on my integra and i had the shocks on the stiffest setting for less body roll. someone told me that if my shocks are too stiff that i won't have any give and my car will leave the ground if i hit i bump to hard and im goin too fast. is this true and what setting gives me the best performance?

extremely stiff will leave you feeling like you're riding in a car with the wheels bolted to the frame-you'll feel every tiny little bump n the road...but yes the more stiff they are the less body roll. i'd say leave them somewhat soft for just regular driving and if you're gonna be taking hard turns and shit and you have some time stiffen it up a bit...just try it on the different settings and see how they feel to you.

set it to 1 and itll feel much better than stock. set it to 5 and it will handle like a dream............i dont really like feeling every bump on the road, so i set it to 2 in the front 3 in the rear. a good balance for me.

well as we all explained stiff shocks aren't bad but they improve driving greatly. I had stiff shocks and springs and hell i felt all the bumps but my speed increased greatly. and what i thought was a high speed where my car wouldn't run no faster my car kept climbing until i slowed down in fear of cops. So yes if ur gonna go on the highway stiff them babies up if ur on ur streets on mine. u better pray to have better then level 5 ;)
