Injector Question

Hey Guys!!

Quick Question...

What is the difference between the all the different injectors for the dsm? Like there are the "stock" ones, blue top, yellow top. Just wondering. I know that they yellows are 510cc, but basically what is the difference in the blue and non-blue. Are there any other stock dsm/jdm injectors as well??

I am interested in this also. I have been seeing that some people are using the 560cc EVO VIII injectors. Is it that any low impedence injectors will work? Anyone know of other cars we can "swipe" :naughty: the injectors from, so I don't have to pay $300 for a set of 550's?

you can use any low inpedence,peak hold injector.i dont really know about the evoviii but the rx7 turbo2 from 86-88 will work,some are low imped but some are not.they are a red top denso 550 injector in the rx7.

i could do some searching and really find out about the evoviii though.

Grab your multimeter put it on OHM's and touch the two prongs and check the reading. If its 2-4 Ohm's then it's the right stuff.. If it's 10-15 ohm then sell them to your Honda buddies..
