So I wake up this morning and I go to my car about to head to work, and I look around the car and see a mini exxon valdez, I was like WTF ?

Poped the hood, and checked my oil... bone dry.

check the oil pan... sure enough it's got a huge dent and it's leaking what's left of the oil in the car. great....

went back in got dad to give me a lit to work and getting home I gonna pull the oil pan off my Project motor and install it on my car to get mobile again....

damn it.

Reminds me of the time I cracked a 17. A buddy of mine & I were driving down to Minneapolis (4 hour drive - one way) at 1am to pick up another friend from the airport. We're on the Interstate doin' about 75, it's dark out & we're delirious because it's the middle of the night. All of a sudden something catches my eye & before I had a chance to react I hit it with my right front wheel.

At first it didn't seem like anything was wrong, but we pulled over & checked just to be on the safe side. Sure enough, it turns out I hit a brick-sized chunk of asphalt - which broke the bead on my tire. So, by this time it's about 3am & we're having to take one of my 17's off the back of the car, put it on the front, raise the coilover in the back all the way up & put the doughnut on.

After that we just turned around & came back home.... No way I'm driving another couple hours to Minneapolis on a damn doughnut. Good thing I didn't too because with that one corner raised all the way up, and the other coilovers all the way down made for a very strange drive home. The car was all over the place!

The next day I took the rim & tire over to our local tire shop to see if they could reseat the tire. When I went to pick it up they had the tire back on the rim, but the tire wouldn't hold air because I had a 4" crack along the inside of the rim :banghead:

Long story a little shorter... Sent the rim to a place in SoCal & they fixed the crack & repainted the wheel. About $200 later....

I hit a pot hole the size of a kiddie pool going around the back of the mall (aka. shortcut). It was so stupid of me to do it cause first there were no lights on and second, I was going about 40. So when I hit it, I about cracked my head on the roof cause the car just bounced right outta it. Luckily it didn't do any damage, but I it surely knocked my whole suspension outta alignment.
