I recently tried to take out my clear corner.. the yellow shiet...u kno... and Im still stuck trying to get the headlight out..the two bolts on top of the headlight was simple but the 3rd long screw was hard.. I can't take out the long screw...It seems like its not comin out no matter how much I turned it... is there a trick or something.... I already read Boogie's thread... Or wat kind of tool u use for that??

Go to page three of cosmetics and look under "How to clear out you corners and rear signals on a P11" It tells you everything u need to know.

sorry guys... i havent had a chance to update that...

the third screw is actually a small screw not the long one.. the long one adjusts your beam angle. sorry, i wrote that out of memory about 10 months after actually doing it...

Yeah, I had some problems taking out the corner too!! Iwas finally able to remove one of the corners, the one by the battery, because it was easier to see the tiny screw below the beam adjustment screw. The biatch is the other side. The tiny screw is pretty much in the same place as the right headlamp but the is a fat wire running above it and a small silver pipe going to the radiator so its really hard to reach down there. I've tried everything to get to it but i cant. I can touch the screw but i cant get anything in there to remove it. If you ever get it out please let me know. Thanks :flash:

Once you do clear your corners would you just leave it like that or would u have to make it red somehow to make it legal?

I cleared my taillights yesterday and I also tried to clear my headlights but they wouldn't come out. I tried the right one (if you're looking at the front) and I got the two top screws out, and the little one right under the beam angle adjustment screw (the long one... LOL my headlight angle is all screwy now... :p ). I got all three screws out and when I tried to pull the headlight out, the left part comes out easily, but the part with the corner light won't budge at all. Is there another screw there? It seems like there's another screw there attaching it to the chasis because it will not move at all. Any ideas? Did I do something wrong? Thanks... :)
I'll try it again this afternoon... hopefully it will come out...

I don't know the exact law, but here in VA, you can get pulled over for having blue/white turn signals. I think it's if your turn signal is the same color as your headlight, but not exactly sure. The law might be that if you have anything other than orange, you can get pulled over. I might just put an orange bulb, or do a really blue bulb and risk it. Does anyone know the exact law? Thanks...

hey.. give it another try... just pull on it nice and hard...

there's this little.. plug kinda thing behind the corner that secures it to the chassis... not sure how else to describe it but once you have the 3 screws out.. just give it a manly tug and dont be scared nothing will break!!

Okay, this is taking forever, two questions...

I got the easier of the headlights out, and cleared it, but there's a ring of orange plastic around the black casing, how do you get that out?

And two, I tried to get the small screw from the left headlight out, and I can't for the life of me figure out how the hell you're supposed to get that out. My left hand is all busted up with cuts trying to get that thing out. Anyone who has cleared their headlights, how'd you get that screw loose? This isn't a question, it's a cry of desperation :( . I cleared my right one, and if I can't clear the left one, it's going to look very weird :bloated: and I don't know what I'm going to do so I need to get the left one cleared. HELP PLEASE!!! AAHH!!!... :)
