turbos on vtecs bad?

i heard this somewhere, is this true?

no totally false, all vtec is is a camshaft with 2 sets of lobes for each piston and when vtec kicks in, different lobes with a higher lift are used to open the valves. Its basically like having a hot cam that is only used in higher rpms. This is better bc you lose low end torque with hot cams and gain in the high rpms. this way you get the best of both worlds. Vtec and turbo are best friends =)
