I want to get a 1987 camaro but i am not so sure if the 350's for 87 came stick.

Geno is right... No Manual for a 350 TPI FBODY EVER! we wish tho.. Only the L98 Vettes got them.. In the Mid 80s they got the doug Nash with 4 +3 and then in 89 they got the Zf 6 speed (both were optional)

Nah, for the most part, autos are faster than manuals..
the t-5 tranny wouldnt hold up to a 350.. I think thats part of the reason

Well back then in the 80s they had the 1989 TTA 6 cyl beating the Corvette and the Turbo Buick GNX.. Both were 6 bangers and they spanked the vette... Chevy was cryin when this happened. So they didnt want the Fbody to do the same.. Also they said the T5 was to weak for the 350, it was even weak for a 305... So a 350 will destroy it when driven aggresive.. Also firehawks didnt have L98s as we all kno and they did get 6 speed like the same one as vette did.. And yea LT1s and LS1s got a 6 speed option. GM can suck somtimes..
