I'm 17 have a good record besides one wreck, and I wanted to know how much anyone thinks insurance is on a 95' Eclipse? No turbo or anything, catback and K&N cool intake are the only things with it. Thanks for any replies.

depends on the insurance company you have, and if you're on your parents policy still or not... your own policy - be ready to pay out the ass. parents policy - a hell of a lot cheaper. i have a 97 GST Spyder and my insurance is around $240 somethin/per month. IF i had my own policy it'd be around 400 somethin/per month. maybe cause i've had an assload of speeding tickets and a wreck that wasn't my fault (i don't think that raised my insurance)...

Anywhere from 1$-1 000 000$ per month

Really, it depends on every insurance company. Try calling up a few places and getting quotes, or get quotes online

Man this is one of the only times I will say I am glad to be getting older. Im only 20 and I pay 180 full coverage monthly. I can say also it matters if you want liability because for me it would be 108. Not that I don't trust myself or anybody else from damaging my car, but if somebody steals it, I am covered. Stealing is for people who feel they don't need to earn anything

it doesn't matter whether it's a non-turbo, turbo, or all-wheel drive turbo. an eclipse is an eclipse and from what i know, insurance on eclipses is usually higher than say, a grand am, but it all depends on the company, what policy, driving record, age, and male/female.

Yes but insurance for a GSX will be higher than an RS.

the insurance did not change one bit from non-turbo to my awd.

Consider yourself lucky. In ontario, at least the places I've called, every insurance quote is unique to the age, make, model and trim of the vehicule.

that might also be because the insurance on my non-turbo was already pretty high, averaging 3 tickets a week doesn't help, neither does 91mph in a 65mph zone :thumbsdow

Depending on who you are with, it also include how long you've had your license. Lets say I am 25 and i had me license for a year, that doesnt mean that i am a better/more safe driver than a 20 year old who has had his for 3 years. If you can point, click and type here, you can get off your lazy brain and goto an insurance website and look for a quote. Or you can call a place to get a quote. It saves you from the typing.

you can get some quotes online now. so keep clickin away!

The difference in model will totally make a difference...

But I must ask why you are thinking of buying a Non Turbo. I had one and it was slow as...something really damned slow. It is not worth it, in my opinion.

Maybe the only thing good about getting older. Cheap insurance, I think mine is around 400 per year. Wait till you are 30 with 3 kids. The ONLY way to find out what YOUR insurance will be is to pick up the phone.

Insurance is a killer. I was payin close to $2,600 for my 99 NON TURBO. They seem to think that every car that looks good is a high risk, no matter what its packin under the hood. Now im payin only $1,900 a year with 2 cars, I bought a winter car for $1,800, and I will save that much on insurance in 2 years. I put the other car on liability, and switched the eclipse to being my dad's primary car (which he has never driven before in his life). Get ready for high rates if it's an eclipse.

Insurance rates (for CA at least) depend more on the YEAR than the trim or model of the car.
I was paying $110/month liability for my 1998 NT Spyder (20 years old).
I got a 1997 Turbo Spyder, and my insurance dropped to $90/month. (still 20 years old).

So get a 1995 GS is you can. Top-o-da-line stuff, cheap insurance.
